I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and hold a Masters Degree in Couples, Marriage, and Family Counseling from Portland State University. I also see individuals, especially women, and work with couples on parenting issues. Since 1982, I have taught elementary school, and since 1999, I have taught parenting classes. I have an Oregon Teaching Credential for grades Kindergarten through 9th grade.
My Practice
I believe that everyone who walks through my door has the desire and capability to lead a more positive life, regardless of what has negatively affected them. My own personal experience, coupled with my specific training, helps me assist individuals dealing with depression and anxiety, and couples and individuals facing conflict and parenting issues. By examining past experiences, we can modify negative beliefs that interfere with your quality of life.
